GOODREADS

"I love this chapbook. full of beautiful language, unexpected turns, moments that leave you breathless. This is a chapbook deeply connected to space and place, a chapbook of self and separations, and it spans years, beginning with the partition of British India in 1947."

WILDNESS JOURNAL

"In all of these poems is Singh’s ability to weave an entire world with only a few words and some careful, quiet description, evidence of their skill as a storyteller and writer of narrative poetry."

ANOMALOUS PRESS

"It’s rare to find a piece of writing that feels so present in the body, but Tanya Singh’s poetry invokes visceral imagery so strong it’s stuck with me long after I turned my eyes away."
